About Balance Integrative Veterinary Clinic

Balance Veterinary Clinic brings integrative veterinary care directly to you and your pet. As a mobile-only practice, we offer personalized, holistic treatments designed to support your pet’s health, comfort, and overall well-being.

Available on Mondays Only, Balance Veterinary Clinic provides acupuncture alongside complementary services such as massage, laser therapy, and other integrative treatments, all from the comfort and familiarity of your pet’s own home.

Integrative care can support a wide range of health concerns, from arthritis, pain, and mobility issues to skin conditions, allergies, endocrine concerns, digestive issues, and more. Our approach works alongside traditional veterinary medicine to provide thoughtful, individualized care based on each animal’s specific needs.

About Dr. Sara Phipps

Dr. Phipps graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She is certified in acupuncture in two different methods, both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCVM) and the Balance Method.

She has her masters degree in Integrative Medicine through the Chi University.

She and her husband have served as long term field workers with Christian Veterinary Mission in Bolivia for 5 years. She continues to work with them as an associate veterinarian.

An East Tennessee native, Dr. Phipps also works part-time at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Boone as well as being and

adjunct professor at LMU in Harrigate, TN
